Gregory Borman is an accomplished independent filmmaker based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin Stout with a degree in Entertainment Design, specializing in Digital Cinema, and a minor in Performing Arts, Greg's passion for film spans various genres, including drama, horror, and the experimental. He is well-versed in event and candid videography, having contributed to numerous film projects in roles such as screenwriter, director, and cinematographer.
Beyond his academic achievements, Greg is a skilled cinematographer with expertise in digital camera operations, digital photography, and video production. He has collaborated with clients across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Nevada, producing film and promotional videos for industrial, consumer, non-profit, and institutional sectors. His portfolio encompasses diverse projects, focusing on Brand, Corporate, Events, Product, Social Media, and Training videos.
Since embarking on his film and video production journey in 2014, Greg has gained valuable experience working with Minnesota television stations, contributing to live sports video production for universities and local communities, and providing videography services for art festivals and nonprofits. His involvement extends to live production for indie professional wrestling, corporate stills, videos, and national-level video production. Notably, Gregory has received festival awards for his outstanding work as a cinematographer and director in the realm of independent filmmaking.
Outside of the film industry, Greg enjoys practicing outdoor photography, reading graphic novels, sketching, and indulging in his passion for Magic: The Gathering.
